THREE is Ready!!!

I finally decided on a title and chose a cover image from Shutterstock.com. Never in a million years did I think that I'd be releasing my fourth novel in ONE year!!! I had know idea that I had it in me. And now that I know, I couldn't be more ecstatic and proud of myself. This was a long time coming. Any who, the new book THREE will be out December 18th!!!

Title Trouble

I'm still having a hard time picking a title for this new story. I tried asking my dad and nephew. My nephew came up with 'Two for One: Happy Ever Alaska' and my dad has been calling the book 'From Unda Tundra' the whole time I've been writing it. LOL! They are nut jobs!

Break Time is Over!

I was away for a while, taking a much needed break from writing. I was starting to get burnt out. I had worked on writing for a year while working full-time, so my brain was fried. But now I'm back in the game. Unfortunately it isn't to write the sequel to Scarred. I write as the characters come to me. And my characters from my triad story are shouting at me to finish their story. Once I'm done with them I'll start of the sequels to Scarred...I promise.

Fuming!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't even describe the level of pissed off I am right now! So I had noticed that I had a few returns on Scarred. I figured that it was due to how intense the first couple of pages are. So just as a precaution I decided to put a disclaimer in the description for the novel. I submitted it and then about 24 hours later I get an email from Kindle Direct Publishing saying that they have blocked Scarred because it was... in violation of the content guidelines. Some of those violation guidelines are:
Pornography: We don't accept pornography or offensive depictions of graphic sexual acts.
Offensive Content: What we deem offensive is probably about what you would expect.
SERIOUSLY!!! Those are their examples! Fifty Shades of Grey has graphic sexual acts in nearly every single chapter! I write about a very real issue that many women face and it's literally only the first page. So now I have a decision to make...edit my book to suit what Amazon wants which of course takes away from the story and my main character or just release it on Smashwords and wait to fight another day. As an author you put your heart and soul into every book, so someone trying to put a literary gag over your mouth is a grievous offense!

Coming Soon!!!

I got the cover for the new book, so as soon as the review process is done I'll be releasing it for purchase. I can't seem to wait for a future release date while building anticipation for it. So I said "eff it", I'm releasing it as soon as it's ready!!! Holla!!!

1st Draft....Done!

While everyone was out at BBQs and watching the fireworks, I was at home finishing up the 1st draft of Scarred. But it's okay I guess since I partied like it was 1999 for 17 years. It's okay though. I finally figured out what I want to do with my life. Ha! It only took about forever! :)

Good Distractions...

So I was in the middle of writing my next novel about a polyandry relationship (1 woman & 2 men) when I hit a roadblock and another idea and other characters came to me and I couldn't get them out of my head. So I've now started on the other story called Scarred and I'm super excited about where this novel can go! Apparently if I don't have a title from the start or at least early on, it's not a good sign. It's like the title is the first piece to the puzzle that I have to start with or I can't continue. Weird!
