Cover!!!

My illustrator, Suzy Almblade has finished the cover for Awe-Struck! And I couldn't be more pleased! And she did it in only two days...seriously impressed. I'm so excited I could pee my pants!!! Here's the cover! So beautiful!!! Can't wait for the new Star-Struck cover. I couldn't have the cover for Awe-Struck this gorgeous and keep my amateur cover for Star-Struck. Stay tuned!

Taking a Break

I'm stepping back to take a moment away from editing Awe-Struck, by continuing writing on my third novel (which is not really a break). Maybe just a week away from Sunny & Gabe, and then I'll come back with a fresh perspective.

Hermit Life

My mom said to me "You know most people only work 8 hours, you've been at it for like 12", when I was working on getting my website up and running. To my thinking, I spent my 20s and a good part of my 30s playing, having fun, finding myself and gaining experiences and stories that I will put in some of my books. Now is the time to work at something that means a lot to me. But the best part is...I'm enjoying almost every minute of "work". :)

Awe-Struck Cover Sketches

So I started talking with a girl at my call center job. She's an artist and from what I've seen, an amazing one. She offered to work on my covers and these are some of the sketch ideas she created in one evening. Hell, I think the sketches are pretty amazing...I can't wait to see what the finished product will look like!

I'm Done!!!

Awe-Struck's first draft is done! Wow I can't believe it! So the first one wasn't just a fluke...I actually wrote two books!!! Now if only I can make this my career...i.e., my main and only source of income. I hope you have good news in store for me 2014.

This is an AWESOME READ!!!! For this to be this author's first novel, I give kudos to you. I really enjoyed everything about this book. My emotions were all over. It made me laugh,(alot). I cried on one part. And a couple parts I was really sad. I could relate to how Sunny was feeling on some parts because I am a plus sized women where some men ignore me and others find me sexy as hell, but at the same time, I asked myself why is that. This book really helped me to open up about some things and to stop putting myself down all the time. I can't wait for 2 to come out. Great job Twyla.

I've read a lot of books but this book was so good I didn't realize I was at the end until turned to the last page. So, I'm really happy that there will be a second installment with these characters.
